Friday night's game is the only meeting between the Blackhawks and the Lightning during the 2011-12 season, and Boucher expects the Lightning will have all that they can handle.
"They are probably the most menacing team in the offensive zone," Boucher said of the Blackhawks. "I mean, they are everywhere. Their defense doesn't hesitate to jump into the play; the 'D' on the strong-side, the 'D' on the far-side and you try to figure out what they are doing out there, but it's always something different. You can't forecheck their defensemen; they are so quick they turn on a dime. It's very, very difficult to establish a forecheck on that team, so you have to be smart about it and in your own end; if you start running around, you're dead. The key is to remain calm during the storms." |
